Educational qualification:

The Eligibility Criteria is apart for selecting applicants to the post of Teacher for Classes I-V and for Classes VI-VIII. So Let’s look at the Educational Qualification need by Candidates for both these sections:

Educational Qualification for Classes I-V:

• An applicant who has completed Senior Secondary (10+2)  or its equivalent exam with minimum 50% marks and cleared or appearing in final year exam of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration) OR
• An applicant who has completed Senior Secondary  (10+2) or its equivalent exam securing minimum 45% marks and has cleared or appearing in final year exam of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration), as per to the NCTE Regulations 2002. OR
• An applicant who has completed Senior Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent test with minimum 50% marks and has cleared or appearing in final year exam of Bachelor of Elementary Education (4 years duration).OR
• An applicant who has completed Senior Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent test with minimum 50% marks and has cleared or appearing in final year exam of Diploma in Education (2 years duration). OR
• An applicant who has Bachelor’s degree and has cleared or appearing in final year exam of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration).

Educational Qualification for Classes VI-VIII:

• An applicant who holds a Graduation degree and has passed or is appearing in final year examination of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration). OR
• An applicant who has completed his/her Graduation degree with 50% marks and has cleared or appearing in final year exam of Bachelor in Education. OR
• An applicant who has completed his/her Graduation degree with 40% marks and has cleared or appearing in final year exam of Bachelor in Education, according to NCTE regulations. OR
• An applicant who has completed Senior Secondary  (10+2) or its equivalent test with minimum 50% marks and has cleared or appearing in final year exam of 4 years duration Bachelor of Elementary Education. OR
• An applicant who has completed Senior Secondary  (10+2) or its equivalent exam with 50% marks and cleared or appearing in final year exam of B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed or B.A/B.Sc.Ed. OR

Age Limit:

CBSE CTET 2018 – Exam Pattern:

 CTET 2018 will be operated by CBSE in either of two ways: Paper-1 or Paper -2 and Paper (1+2)

Paper -1 is conducted for candidates who aspire to become teacher for Class I to V and Paper II is conducted for candidates who aspire to become a teacher for Class VI to VIII. Candidates can also apply for both Paper -1 and Paper -2. The mode of Questions asked in both Paper -1 and Paper -2 is Objective Multiple Choice Questions. Paper asked in CBSE CTET 2018 will be bilingual, i.e. in both English and Hindi. Candidates need to score a minimum of 60% to qualify CTET 2018 Exam. One major thing to note is that the score of CTET is valid for 7 years after the result has been announced for the same by CBSE.

CTET Exam Admit Card 2018:

The admit card/Hall Ticket for CTET 2018 exam will be uploaded on the official website of CBSE after the application process is completed. Candidates need to download the CTET 2018 call letter from its official website. Admit Card will be published separately for candidates applying for Paper 1, Paper 2, for both Paper 1 and Paper 2.

CTET Cut-off 2018:

CTET 2018 cut off will be issued after the conduct of the exam. The candidates appearing for CTET will be released Marks Statement. The applicants securing 60% (General) and above marks will be issued Eligibility Certificate. The School Management (Local bodies, Government, Government aided and unaided) may consider giving concessions to the person belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently abled persons, etc., in accordance with their extant reservation policy.

CTET  Result 2018:
